Description
Sometimes finding the muse in creative writing can be challenging. Writer’s block occurs and the writer feels stuck and frustrated. Maybe the writer wants to engage in creative writing and doesn’t know where to start. This course is for the beginning and inspiring creative writer. Students will learn how to find inspiration using common items and ideas and they will build and develop using description and inventive language. Not only will students create creative pieces of writing, but they will build everyday writing skills as well. Good paragraph form, sentence structure, grammar, descriptive language and well developed progression are skills that are also used in academic and professional writing situations. Creative writing is not just for building poets. Creative writing can help build all around writing skills!
