Description
In this intensive writing class we will be practicing how to use the writing process and other writing strategies to think more strategically about writing. Throughout this five day class, students will be creating a five paragraphs, one page story. They will be expected to work through the writing process in and out of class, and will be able to work at their own pace. The goal is to share our stories, and then look at some strategies and tips to improve our writing. I like a supportive atmosphere where students can share with excitement and enthusiasm for their work. I encourage students to share their own work as well as encourage the work of others. There will be a small amount of direct instruction, with an emphasis on guided practice.
