It may be hard to see from this photo what Ryan is smelling — and it doesn’t really matter all that much — because we came up with a KIDFUN game that was a Smelling Test. Here we were in the car and she’s smelling lip gloss flavors — some were cherry, others grape, orange, etc. We all tried to guess, without reading the label, what the flavor was. But, you could do this with so many things. It’s a great game for the kitchen. Have your child look around for foods and spices with a distinctive smell. Place them in a row — either in a bowl or plate or standing alone — to set up the Smelling Test. Then blindfold the person being tested and bring that person into the kitchen. I wonder just how good the tester will do at The Great KIDFUN Smelling Test!
