As the former president of the Learning Disabilities Association, Melissa is passionate about helping students that have been identified or within the spectrum of having learning challenges. She has en in-depth understanding of the difficulties students might face in learning new subject matters. She holds two Master’s degrees, one in Law with a concentration in technology and innovation from UofT as well as an MBA from Cornell University. She has 3 years of experience mentoring and coaching start-up company’s. During her MBA program, she mentored engineering teams on their written presentation and business strategy plans. She has coached and helped student teams with pitch competitions, because she enjoys helping students feel more confident in their learning journies. Melissa has over 12 plus years of corporate work experience in finance and three years of entrepreneurial experience working on her start-up.
