Jacques’ teaching method involves a type of flipped classroom wherein the student/s do most of the speaking while he guides with initial and follow-up questions. He finds that a discussion-based, live forum leads to the best learning outcomes. When students are explaining what they have learned and their points of view, they are processing what they have learned; respectful discussion and Devil’s advocates are welcome in my classroom. Jacques also shares his opinion and asks for feedback or potential solutions.
