Lynda is an American native-speaker who currently lives in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.. Her father was British and she spent a quarter-year of high-School in the UK. She has been giving ESL lessons since April 2016 and has taught from 1 – 30 students at a time. Lynda has taught in these classroom settings: a high school in Kuwait (remote from campus), skill-builidng in Boston and ESL in Manhattan.
The focus of her lessons is always the student’s objectives. First, you chat and she finds out what the student needs. Then Lynda delivers a lesson that focuses on those objectives. Be it accent reduction, improved vocabulary or sentence construction, She finds a way for my students to grow in their area of need. This personal approach is enjoyable and effective for my students.
She’ll be able to work with her students over time and help them grow and develop.
