Carito loves motivating her students to communicate and learn from mistakes. She also likes to conduct her teaching as much as possible in Spanish so that the students can have more contact with the language. Students can be immersed in the language from day one. Carito also uses body language, visual images, intonation and gestures which all play an important role in communication. Sometimes if the student wants, she can also clear up confusing points using one of the foreign languages she speaks. Carito’s experience as a teacher has allowed her to develop her creativity when planning lessons and explaining the language in a meaningful way. Carito likes to use games for the beginner level students as it helps them to be more confident when using the language as well as allowing them to have fun while they are learning. Carito also uses the communicative approach so that from the first day, students can use the language they are learning. She’s not only teach the language, but she also likes to promote cultural exchange.
Carito has experience as a Spanish teacher at the university and language institutes. Teaching is her passion and she thoroughly enjoys being a language teacher. In the years she has been abroad, she has worked with students in one-on-one lessons. She has lived in Hungary, Brazil, England, Germany, and Norway.
