Description
The goal of this workshop-style class is for students to understand what repeatable skills they need to master to research and write a term paper for a major course-end grade. We will learn research basics, primary and secondary sources, brainstorming a thesis statement, testing your thesis, summarizing concepts learned during research, writing an outline, drafting and self-editing and proofreading your own work. During the class, students will work on developing a preliminary thesis for a potential future college paper.
