As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and former Elementary school Guidance Counselor, I’ve seen firsthand what helps, as well as what hurts kids when it comes to divorce. Because I know you want the absolute best for your children, I want to share this information. Although this information may seem like common sense to many people, when you’re going through a divorce, your stress level can hijack your decision making. This is a basic course. lt doesn’t address special populations and doesn’t take the place of therapy. As a therapist, I totally advocate using therapy to address the specifics of your situation.
