Description
Students will learn why people choose to invest their money. We will discuss some of the ways investing can occur. We will look at the banking system and interest rates, while exploring the issue of inflation and our money supply. Students will have an opportunity to participate in an online stock simulation game, which will give them an idea of what is it like to invest in stocks. There will be two live sessions, but they will be spaced out (about a month apart) to allow time for the students to play the game. Students may spend as much or as little time playing the stock market game as they desire.
