Writing for beginners. As a writing tutor based in Philadelphia, Katherine has been working since 2015 with aspiring writers. She works with adults who are just starting to write, who may never have learned grammar rules and want to build confidence and learn new skills. Katherine has experience with non-native speakers (both kids and adults) and can help English-language learners pinpoint their weaknesses and edit their own work. With kids, she has worked for many years in after-school programming and museums to encourage literacy and a love of writing.
Katherine offers one-on-one online tutoring for kids, teens and adults to help them edit their own work and become a better writer. She has a graduate degree in environmental writing and have been a Philadelphia-based tutor since 2016. Whether it’s college essays, business writing, creative nonfiction, personal stories, or web content, she can teach aspiring writers of any age to improve their skills and develop confidence in their writing style.
