Leslie Ann Kilpatrick’s interest in alternative ways to teach math began in 2009 while attending Birmingham-Southern College and continued the following year while she completed her senior thesis in Game Theory and Modular Arithmetic.  She calls her teaching method Mathematical Movement (or MathMove) which is an established STEM-based curriculum geared towards engaging students of all ages in mathematics and science education through dance.Leslie serves as a guide for individuals or groups through visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile methods. The goal of each lesson is to help the student connect intuitively with math & science and to foster a love of learning!
