Michelle adapts very well to different learning styles and will take advantage of that when she is teaching. She may try several methods to see which works best for my student before getting too deep into a topic. These include visuals, real-life applications, fun games, and storytelling! For the SAT, she also implements official practice tests and an online whiteboard. As for college preparation, she takes my students through each process step by step with LOTS of personal experience.

Detailed Information

Michelle grew up teaching English and math to her two younger siblings (grades 5&7), who are both now at the top of their classes. In high school, she was part of a peer tutoring club and also volunteered briefly at a local K-12 mathematics center. Currently, Michelle is tutoring two students in SAT and college preparation. She was also recently accepted by BoldABC, a tutoring company for kids in China. With the time she has during my gap year at Yale, she is excited to tutor here at a low price to provide aid in these times of need.
